First week of SBS gone, and we are already full on. Hey all, as I said in my previous post, I am taking a school here at YWAM Bethlehem called SBS (School of Biblical Studies). to recap the school is three months long and approaches the entire New Testament through an inductive method in order to grasp the original meaning behind what the authors meant when they wrote the books. Our purpose for doing this is then to draw timeless truths from the text in order to apply, not only to our own lives, but also teach to others through discipleship.
Rain, Rain, and More Rain…
Anyway, all that to say, we have finished the book of Philemon. A book of only 25 verses has quiet simply, impressed all of us in the school, as to the depth that God’s word brings when studied through the lens of the original author and recipient.
